Breast Reconstruction Ohio
Breast reconstruction is a type of surgery that aims to restore the look and feel of a woman’s breasts after a mastectomy. Dubbed as the leading breast reconstruction facility in Ohio and the Midwest, our office offers the following breast reconstruction techniques:
DIEP Flap makes use of one’s own tissue (usually from the abdomen) to recreate natural-looking breasts mounds.
Patients experiencing pain or illnesses related to their breast implants may consider a Total En Bloc Capsulectomy.
SGAP Flap Reconstruction
SGAP Flap Reconstruction is ideal for patients with little to no abdominal tissues. It uses the skin and fat along the upper buttocks and hips to reconstruct the breasts after mastectomy.
Other Microsurgicals Flaps
Aside from DIEP Flap, there are many microsurgical techniques that utilize a patient’s own skin and tissue to rebuild the breasts.
Tissue Expander / Direct to Implant
Tissue Expander/Direct Implant is a technique that places breast implants (either saline or silicone) under the chest muscle to reconstruct the breasts.
Revision Breast Reconstruction
Revision Breast Reconstruction is the revision or redoing of a previous breast reconstruction surgery for a more favorable outcome.
Pre-pectoral breast reconstruction is the placing of the implant over the chest muscle.
