MBAS Held Pottery Party for Midwest Breast Cancer Survivors

Category: | Posted on: November 23, 2016 Updated on: July 26, 2019 | Author:

Over the weekend, Midwest Breast & Aesthetics Surgery was fortunate to have sponsored a small get-together for our online patient support group in Cincinnati. The group was originally designed as a support system to connect breast cancer survivors in the Midwest. Since its inception, the group has become an incomparable cornerstone for the community, bringing together a network for survivors of all ages to share their experiences with each other.

The event was held at the Pottery Place in Cincinnati. Surrounded by a light meal and a selection of arts and crafts, survivors were treated to a wonderful afternoon that celebrated their journey. For many of these women, the event was the perfect venue to finally meet in person, share their experience, and forge connections that were previously made over the internet.

The event was organized by Katrina Smith, our Surgery Patient Liaison. We here at Midwest Breast & Aesthetics plan to sponsor more get-togethers in the coming months, across venues in Cincinnati and Columbus.
